Saturday Fiction Writers and Indie Publishers Round Up 19

Each Saturday I publish a collection of links to articles on fiction writing and Indie Publishing that I’ve enjoyed, found interesting, disagreed with, or just decided to link too.

In no particular order, here are this week’s collection of links:

The LiveHacked.Com Power 100  This is a list post – and it lists 100 blogs/websites for the modern writer in the categories of self publishing, writing process, marketing, platforms, lifestyle and productivity.  You’ll find some of your old favourites here…and maybe some new favourites for 2013 too.  Recommended.  Just don’t read it until you’ve done your day’s writing!

How The Amazon Kindle Serials Program Works  This is a guest post by Roberto Calas at Lindsay Buroker’s website and talks about his experience with the Amazon Serials program.  Interesting reading.

How To Publish Your eBook From Word To Kindle In Under 10 Minutes  This guest post – over at the Book Designer – is a quick guide on taking your work from Word to Scrivener to Mobi format for uploading to Kindle.  Worth checking out.

Jet Is Now Free  I featured a post from Action writer Russell Blake two weeks (or three? gawd, time flies) – and here’s another.  Russell has written a series of books about a female ninja called Jet – the series has been successful.  And he’s put the first one of the series on perma-free.  He explains his reasoning in this post.  If you indie publish, you need to think of strategy.  Recommended.
